EarthScope is a product of Pezora Software Limited - 167-169 Great Portland Street, Fifth Floor, London, W1W 5PF (please contact via email) - 17260237 ("we", "us"), we provide borehole logging software to geotechnical consultancies. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
What we collect
- Account information you provide: name, email, company name, company address.
- Project data you upload: AGS files, borehole logs, sample records, photos, and notes.
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, error logs. Used to improve the product.
Why we collect it
- To provide the service you signed up for. Article 6(1)(b)
- To bill you accurately for borehole usage. Article 6(1)(b)
- To respond to support requests. Article 6(1)(b)
- To improve and develop EarthScope, including through anonymised research using project data. Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests
Who we share it with
We share data only with infrastructure providers required to run the service (AWS (eu-west-2), Polar.sh, Posthog). We never sell your data.
In the instance of Polar.sh, billing data is processed outside the EEA by Polar.sh. To transfer your data abroad we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Your rights
You can:
- request a copy of your data
- ask us to delete it
- correct anything inaccurate
- request to restrict processing
- object against data processing
- withdraw your consent
- lodge a complaint with the ICO

Retention Policy
Account data: duration of contract + 2 years.
Project/borehole data: duration of subscription with agreement for longer storage.
Usage logs: 90 days rolling.
Billing records: 7 years.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies.
